GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE FOR USERS OF THE AURO GLASGOW PLATFORM – UNITED KINGDOM

1. About Auro Glasgow

The Auro Glasgow Platform is operated by Auro Glasgow, a company incorporated and registered in Scotland with company number SC863024. For further information on how to get in touch with Auro Glasgow, please see (How to contact us) below.

2. Payments and Deposits 

Credit card payments are subject to a 2% surcharge. Debit card payments are subject to a 0.55% surcharge.

Payment terms for all bookings:
All bookings must be secured with a credit or debit card. A minimum 50% deposit must be paid within 7 days of booking. The deposit will be taken automatically 48 hours prior to the booking, with the remaining balance due 24 hours prior to the booking.
For wedding car hire, full payment will be taken 7 days prior to the event.

Where applicable, bookings may be subject to additional waiting time and car park charges.

Charges on your credit card statement will appear as Auro Glasgow Ltd.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 48 hours of the start of the hire period, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

  • If a booking is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours of the start of the hire period, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

  • If the Customer fails to appear at the designated pickup time and location, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

4. Terms and Conditions

Auro Glasgow requires a minimum of 18 hours’ notice for all online bookings.

Auro Glasgow cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. However, all drivers aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled booking time.

Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the interior and/or exterior of a hired vehicle and will be charged accordingly for repair costs and any resulting loss of use.

If there are any changes to the journey other than those agreed at the time of booking, the Client will be advised and charged for any additional costs in accordance with Auro Glasgow’s pricing structure.

Auro Glasgow reserves the right to change the allocated vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.

Every effort will be made to ensure that Auro Glasgow vehicles or subcontracted vehicles arrive on time.

Auro Glasgow chauffeurs will travel by the most appropriate route on the day unless instructed otherwise by the Customer.

If a Customer’s preferred route causes delays, Auro Glasgow will not accept responsibility.

If a Customer’s preferred route results in additional mileage, Auro Glasgow will advise the Customer and charge accordingly.

Auro Glasgow vehicles and subcontracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, Auro Glasgow shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to passengers’ personal property.

Auro Glasgow retains details of lost property and will endeavour to return items to their rightful owners.

Auro Glasgow and its chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse carriage to any passenger suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour is deemed a threat to the chauffeur, vehicle, or other passengers.

Auro Glasgow operates a strict non-smoking policy in all vehicles.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the Client’s statutory rights.

These Terms are governed by Scottish law.
